ITANAGAR, Jan 9: The Arunachal Vikas Parishad (AVP) will celebrate its silver jubilee cum Karyakarta Prant Sammelan-2019 to commemorate 25 years of AVP’s service in Arunachal Pradeshat the Himalayan University in Jully near here from 13 to 14 January.
The AVP set its footmark in Arunachal Pradesh in 1993, and has since been rendering service mission projects in health, education, religion, etc.
Briefing media persons here at the Press Club on Wednesday, AVP president Techi Gubin informed that the silver jubilee will be held along with its annual conference to introspect and review their work.
During the two days celebration, drawbacks and positive outcomes of the organization will be discussed in length, including the future roadmap in service to Arunachal Pradesh, with the participation of over 1,000 delegates from across the state.
The organization informed that Governor BD Mishra is expected to attend the inaugural function while Chief Minister Pema Kandu will attend the closing ceremony.
The organisation also aims to hold conference of all workers to share ideas and interact and learn organizational skills among themselves and invigorate their skill towards making a vibrant Arunachal Pradesh.
Regarding Hindu inspired religious propagation, AVP secretary Gyati Rana said that AVP is not against any religion, but admitted that it propagates an assertive way to preserve one’s own religion and maintain its originality.
