AALO, Jan 11: Fifty-one pregnant women registered for their first, second, third and fourth antenatal care (ANC) during a Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan programme chaired by West Siang DC Swetika Sachan at the general hospital here on Wednesday.
Aadhaar registration, USG and laboratory tests for the pregnant women were also done free of cost, and pregnant women registered under the Pradhan Mantri Vandana Yojana were given supplementary items by the women & child development department.
The DC distributed baby kits to newborn girl children under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme, in the presence of DMO Dr Moli Riba, Medical Superintendent Dr Linia Lollen and Aalo West ICDS Project CDPO Bahi Koyu. (DIPRO)
