AALO, Jan 21: Preparations are underway for the Yomgo River Festival, which begins here in West Siang district on 1 February.
Organized by the Aalo Town People’s Welfare and Development Society under the supervision of the district administration, the three-day festival will feature events like angling, hot air ballooning, rafting, dirt biking, cycling, zip lining, fashion show, local cultural competitions, local games, etc, all along the riverside, right from Paya village to the main venue.
DC Swetika Sachan and District Tourism Officer Rita Yorung are closely monitoring the preparations. (DIPRO)
