NEW DELHI, Jan 22: The tableau to be presented by Arunachal Pradesh at this year’s Republic Day parade will depict a Monpa village and the cultural life of the Monpa tribe.
Ten participants from the state, along with art expert and team leader Dhruba Bhattacharjee, assistant group leader Hage Habung, and tableau fabrication supervisors Roto Tadi and Sangey Tsewang have been camping at the Rashtriya Rangshala camp here for over two weeks now.
Arunachal Pradesh will march along with 15 other states on Republic Day to pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th birth anniversary. It may be mentioned here that Arunachal came third in the cultural competition organized at the Rangshala camp. (DIPRO)
