Bomdila, Jan 31: Claiming that the Officer Commanding (OC) 91 RCC Tenga has discharged 24 casual paid workers under different locations without any notice and valid reasons, the Border Roads Organization Laborers Union (BRO Laborers Union), North East Region president, Leki Tsering has appealed to the West Kameng deputy commissioner to direct the OC to reinstate all the discharged workers immediately.
In a notice to the DC on Thursday, the union alleged the OC 91 RCC Tenga of misusing his power and creating unnecessary problems for the workers.
The union has further threatened to launch phase-wise agitation if the said 24 workers are not reinstated soon.
