PASIGHAT, Feb 7: The East Siang traffic cell is observing Road Safety Week since 4 February, with the theme ‘Sadak Suraksha – Jeevan Raksha’.
Speaking on the importance of the event, SP Prashant Gautam said “a little negligence on the road can cost one’s precious life.” He urged drivers to obey the traffic rules, and advised parents not to allow children below the prescribed age to drive vehicles.
“The district police will continue its efforts beyond the scheduled period for making Pasighat a safer place to live in,” the SP said. (DIPRO)
