NAHARLAGUN, Feb 14: The progress and development of any political party is dependent on its workers and grassroots leaders, said BJP leader and former minister Dr Tangor Tapak.
Addressing members of the Shakti and Sahari Kendra (SSK) during the BJP’s state level meeting here on Thursday, Dr Tapak said that, with the elections nearing, the party’s cadres need to unite and work hard to ensure victory.
He emphasized on team work, and elaborated the four Ks for success – karyakarta (workers), karyakaram (programme), karyalaya (office) and kosh (finance) – and urged the leaders to maintain team spirit.
City BJP president Tarh Soping said the state level meeting was necessary to reinforce the unity and integrity of the party leaders of various districts.
SSK cluster in-charge Techi Necha spoke about the organisational structure of the party, while state BJP secretary Vijay Sonam spoke on the importance of social media and Modi apps. State BJP secretary Moha Taipodia spoke on the role of the SSK.
