ITANAGAR, Feb 15: The last rites of Dr Nirmali Taba were performed as per traditional rituals at her ESS Sector residence here on Friday.
A large number of people from all walks of life, including Speaker TN Thongdok, APCC president Takam Sanjoy, Land Management Minister Nabam Rebia, and
family members, relatives and well-wishers of the deceased gathered at the residence to pay their last respects.
Earlier, on 13 February, Chief Minister Pema Khandu, state BJP president Tapir Gao, DCM Chowna Mein, Home Minister Kumar Waii, former CM Nabam Tuki, and MLAs Techi Kaso and Likha Saaya visited the residence and met the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, the Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee and the state BJP in separate messages expressed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
