TAWANG, Feb 22: Forty participants, comprising members of SHGs and NGOs and PMEGP beneficiaries, attended an awareness programme on ‘Backward and forward linkage activities under PMEGP’, which was held at the District Industries Centre here on Friday.
Addressing the participants, Tawang EAC Dochora Lama encouraged them to participate in such programmes in order to become self-reliant, generate income, and create job opportunities for others.
ADO KB Kayastha spoke on linkage activities and invited the entrepreneurs to visit his department and avail the benefits of various schemes, while the HDFC branch manager gave information on availing financial assistance for startups. (DIPRO)
