PASIGHAT, Feb 28: A three-month-long skill development programme on ‘model fruit nursery’ concluded at the College of Horticulture and Forestry (CHF) here in East Siang district on Thursday.
Addressing the valedictory function, CHF Dean Dr BN Hazarika stressed on developing entrepreneurship in the field of nursery management and plant propagation. Course director Dr L Wangchu and coordinator Dr B Singh also spoke.
Thirty rural youths and school dropouts from seven districts of the state participated in the training programme.
