NAHARLAGUN, Mar 2: Members of the Arunachal Pradesh Women’s Welfare Society (APWWS) gathered at its office here on 1 March and appealed for peace as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examination begins from 2 March.
The APWWS members said children are terrified of the prevailing situation and would require a peaceful environment to be able to concentrate on their studies for the examination.
The APWWS also encouraged the students to prepare well for the examination.
It said its members have been meeting with those who were injured in the recent anti-PRC agitation and making attempts to take up the genuine cases with the government for consideration.
The APWWS members also observed a minute’s silence in memory of those who lost their lives during the agitation.
