PASIGHAT, Mar 16: In an initiative to give back to their alma mater, a team of the ‘Ignited Minds’ planted one hundred pine tree plants in the upper campus of the Jawaharlal Nehru College, Pasighat on Saturday.
The team also planted 10 bottle palm trees, 16 pine trees and hundreds of chrysanthemum plants in the bust area of the college to beautify the area.
The team involved 111 undergraduate students of the Jawaharlal Nehru College, under the chair of Dr Temin Payum, a faculty and alumnus of the college.
The members have resolved to adopt two plants each till the seedlings grow to a mature stage.
