JAIRAMPUR, Apr 5: The Indian National Congress (INC) is the only party in the country that has always given top priority to the people’s best interests, said Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president Takam Sanjoy.
Addressing a party rally here in Changlang district on Friday, Sanjoy said the INC has always placed the interests of the people first and has been endeavoring to meet their expectations.
“The people of Arunachal Pradesh have always reposed their faith in the INC. They want the Congress to lead, guide and shape the future of the state,” Sanjoy said.
He said the Congress continues to be a force to reckon with in Arunachal Pradesh.
“The Congress has not only a rich legacy in Arunachal Pradesh but has also made immense contributions towards the development of the state and its people,” the APCC president said, and called upon the people to support the party for a change.
Present at the rally were, among others, Bollywood actor Asrani and party candidates Komoli Mossang (Nampong) and Nuney Tayang (Tezu).
