RONO HILLS, Apr 25: Rajiv Gandhi University’s (RGU) physics department in collaboration with New Delhi-based Inter University Accelerator Centre (IUAC) organized an ‘acquaintance workshop’ at the university here on Thursday.
RGU Vice Chancellor (in-charge) Prof Amitava Mitra highlighted “the principles of physics and the role of associated technologies in the economical growth of the country.”
Senior scientists from the IUAC, Drs RP Singh and Pravin Kumar, delivered talks on “accelerator-based infrastructures and their utilization in pursuing internationally competitive research programmes in nuclear physics and materials science.”
