ITANAGAR, May 6: Himalayan University here has rusticated several students for various offences committed during the university’s ongoing annual examination.
Three BA 3rd year students have been rusticated for three years for sending proxy candidates on their behalf, while a BA 1st year student has been rusticated for physically assaulting the invigilator after he was caught cheating during the exam.
The university’s authority has warned that it would not tolerate any misbehaviour by the students.
