Khoda Ruja mourned

ITANAGAR, May 16: The Arunachal Indigenous Tribes Forum has mourned the death of former president of the Tanw Supuñ Dukuñ, Khoda Ruja.
In a message, the forum said Ruja’s premature demise has caused an irreparable loss to the Apatani community in particular and the state in general.
It described Ruja as “one of the people who was an advocate of Mission Pan-Arunachal, social harmony, and peaceful coexistence of all communities of the state.”
Mourning Ruja’s demise, the Apatani Youth Association recalled him as “a man of simple living and high thinking, who was counted as one of the ablest bureaucrats in the state, and his able administrative acumen was visible during his tenure as TSD president.”
It said Ruja’s contributions to the society would be remembered forever.
State Election Commissioner Hage Kojeen also mourned Ruja’s demise.
“Late Ruja contributed immensely for maintaining a harmonious relationship with all the neighbouring communities for a peaceful coexistence, which is a prerequisite for socioeconomic development in the state,” Kojeen said in a condolence message.
