AMBA, May 29: The Keak Youth Club (KYC) on Wednesday wrote a three-point memorandum to the West Siang RWD Executive Engineer, drawing his attention on the long pending work of the PMGSY road project from Keak village to Kesi Tali village in West Siang district.
In its memorandum, the KYC informed that relevant documents obtained through the RTI act reveal that work completion period was for within 10 November, 2018.
It alleged that “50 percent of the payment was given to contractors M/s TG Enterprises. However, only 30 percent of the work has been done.”
The KYC urged the EE to initiate necessary action or direction to the assigned authority to start the work within 15 days as per the DPR for early completion of PMGSY road from Keak village to Kesi Tali village.
However, if no initiative is taken on the matter, the union has warned of taking out a democratic movement in the days to come.
