KHONSA, Jun 3: The 36th battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) deployed here in Tirap district celebrated its 51st raising day on 1 June.
The battalion was raised in Pfutsero, Nagaland, on 1 June, 1968, by merging the 2nd PAC of Uttar Pradesh.
Battalion Commandant SR Behura inaugurated the fair organized on the occasion at the battalion’s headquarters here, where stalls for food and games were installed.
A cultural programme and a feast were also organized.
Tirap SP Isha Pandey joined the troops and their families on the occasion.
