ITANAGAR, Jun 4: The state unit of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) has welcomed the state government’s decision to grant maternity and child care leave benefits to the female contingency and contractual staffers of the government departments in the state.
“Granting 180 days of maternity leave and 60 days of child care leave will benefit over 20,000 female contingency and contractual employees under various departments in the state,” the BMS said, and urged the contingency and contractual employees to perform their duties with sincerity.
