ITANAGAR, Jun 6: Topin Ete and Sanjoy Dolo (Riba Pangia) have been appointed as general secretaries (GS) of the state Janata Dal (United) party.
State JD (U) president Ruhi Tagung said the appointments have been made with the approval of the party’s national president, Nitish Kumar.
While Ete, who is an advocate and was an MLA candidate from Aalo West in the recently concluded assembly election, has been given the charge of the party’s organization, Dolo, an educationist and youth leader-turned-politician, will look after the party administration and work as in-charge of the state JD (U)’s youth affairs, Tagung said.
