NPP offers support to Pema Khandu govt

ITANAGAR, Jun 6: A delegation of the state unit of the National People’s Party (NPP), led by its president Gicho Kabak and legislature party leader Mutchu Muthi, called on Chief Minister Pema Khandu at his secretariat office here on Thursday and offered the NPP’s support to the BJP government in the state.
The NPP, which is a partner of the NDA at the Centre and the NEDA in the Northeast, submitted a letter of support to the Khandu-led BJP government in the state, assuring the CM of its full cooperation for the all-round development of Arunachal.
The delegation discussed various issues of the state with the CM, and suggested forming a coordination committee of ‘likeminded political parties’ in order to facilitate exchange of opinions in addressing vital issues of the state, in public interest.
Giving assurance that his government is people-friendly, Khandu said the state BJP would work along with all the political parties for the development of the state, without any discrimination based on party affiliations.
The NPP delegation included MLAs Tapuk Taku, Tarin Dakpe and Gokar Basar, and the party’s state vice presidents Anok Wangsa and Nima Sangey.
