ITANAGAR, Jun 24: The Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Science & Technology (APSCST) organized a programme here on Monday, under ‘Sci-connect-2018’, an initiative of the Vigyan Prasar, to develop interest in science among the students of Northeast India.
Fifteen selected students from the Itanagar and Niti Vihar VKVs, the Daporijo Vivekananda Public School, and the Itanagar JNK Public School attended the programme.
APSCST Director CD Mungyak encouraged the participants to “reap maximum benefit out the programme and come up with innovative ideas by learning from it.”
He also advised the guide and escort teachers to encourage the students in such programmes.
Dr Swapna Acharjee from the SRSAC, Dr Pankaj Bharali from the DBT, and Dr Vivek Kumar from the AP Science Centre delivered lectures on various topics, including disaster management and biodiversity.
