Dist agri DD passes away

ITANAGAR, Jun 27: The Lower Subansiri district agriculture department’s deputy director (training), Milo Lodar, passed away on 24 June in New Delhi.
Born on 31 January, 1964, Lodar was a native of Tajang village in Lower Subansiri district. He graduated in BSc (agriculture) from the Rajendra Central Agricultural University, Pusa, Bihar, in 1985.
Lodar had joined the agriculture department as an agriculture inspector in Mechuka in 1985, and was promoted to the post of divisional agriculture officer in 2007. At the time of his demise, he was serving as the department’s deputy director (training) in Lower Subansiri since August 2018.
“With his death, the department of agriculture has lost a very humble, sincere and dedicated officer,” the deputy director in-charge stated in a condolence message.
The officers and staff of the department, and the Apatani Agriculture Field Staff Welfare Association, observed two minutes’ silence as a mark of respect to Lodar, and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
They also conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
