Committee seeks govt approval for creation of circle HQ

ITANAGAR, Jul 12: The Development Committee for Establishment of Circle Office Head Quarter at Param Putu in Lower Subansiri District in a representation to the chief minister last Saturday requested him to approve the proposal for creation of a circle headquarters in Param Putu during the cabinet meeting.
“Following the continuous efforts of the people of Upper Yachuli for the last 25 years, the official process for the said proposal began on 8 July, 1996, but the file was stuck at the secretariat for the next 22 years for reasons best known to them,” the committee stated in the representation.
It said “after patiently waiting for the last 22 years, we again reviewed the proposal during 2018 through the Lower Subansiri deputy commissioner, vide their letter No E-8948, dated 24 December, 2018, and divisional commissioner (west), vide letter No DCW (AP) LS/2018 Pt/121-24 by following all formal procedures. Accordingly, the secretary DA, GoAP, has processed the proposal for approval, wherein your office has given the administrative approval. Also, concurrence has been obtained from the law, finance and administrative reform departments. The department of district administration has prepared the draft and the same has to be approved by the cabinet,” the committee said, and urged the CM to expedite the matter.
