Docs hail passing of bill

ITANAGAR, Jul 12: The Arunachal Pradesh Doctors’ Association has hailed the passing of the Arunachal Pradesh Protection of Medical Service Personnel & Medical Service Institution (Prevention of Violence & Damage or Loss of Property) Bill, 2019, during the recently concluded assembly session.
Lauding Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Health & Family Welfare Minister Alo Libang for passing the bill, the APDA said the decision would “help in creating congenial atmosphere for medical personnel to work for better delivery of health services and improve the public trust on healthcare professional too.”
The association also appealed to all health professionals of the state to perform their duties “with utmost sincerity and kindness.”
