ITANAGAR, Jul 12: The All Arunachal Pradesh Public Health Engineering & Water Supply Department Workers’ Union in a representation to the PHE&WS’ west zone chief engineer requested him to post three junior engineers (JE) in the PHE&WS section of the department’s Naharlagun subdivision at the earliest.
“Three sections under the subdivision are facing shortage of JEs,” the union said.
“It is difficult to cover the whole area and maintenance work is also difficult in this rainy season with pipeline damages occurring in many places. Posting of three JEs is required for the management of labour in every section of Naharlagun,” it said.
