TEZU, Jul 14: Cultural and Literary Society of Mishmi (CALSOM) chairman B Pul felicitated six students from Manchal and Hawai circles who topped the 2018-19 AISSE-AISSCE examinations, in a function here in Lohit district on Sunday.
The CALSOM chairman advised the students to “work with clear motives and give back to the society.”
Later, CE (East) Lupalum Kri, Khonsa EAC Hakresha Kri, AEs Sofreng Hakung, J Tulang, Abotso Pul and Dewenso Tulang, banker Jigonso Pul, and assistant professor Sodyong Kri gave career counselling to the students.
Briefing on the event, Hali Valley Youths Organisation chairman Asamso Hakung said “the organisation seeks to draw a bridge between forerunners of the valley and the new generation to provide a gateway as they reach higher classes.”
