DAPORIJO, Jul 30: Administrative officers, HoDs and the MLAs of Taliha, Daporijo and Dumporijo participated in a district development committee meeting chaired by Tourism Minister Nakap Nalo here in Upper Subansiri district on Tuesday to finalize schemes and projects for onward submission to the state government.
Deputy Commissioner (in-charge) Tage Tatung informed about the state government’s decision to do away with the SADA and the SIDF, and said that “from this year onwards, all scheme and project proposals have to be included in the budget itself.”
He also informed that the last date for submission of any proposal is 31 July.
Nalo said proposals that are aimed at general welfare should be accorded priority, and that projects should be implemented effectively.
The minister informed that a new planning system has been introduced “to end backdoor submission of any scheme or project proposal.” He also directed the HoDs to avoid duplicity while submitting proposals. (DIPRO)
