BASAR, Sep 3: Local MLA Gokar Basar inaugurated a table tennis (TT) hall here in Leparada district on Tuesday.
Basar urged parents and guardians to encourage their wards in sports, saying that “playing sports not only helps the children stay physically fit but also keeps them away from unhealthy thinking.”
He advised children and youths to avail of the facility, and donated four sets of TT boards.
Later, the District Table Tennis Association of Leparada was constituted.
