LIKABALI, Sep 4: The Volunteer’s Rural Development Society (VRDS) conducted a programme on documentation and training in folklore and musical instruments of the Galo tribe at the government higher secondary school here in Lower Siang district on Wednesday.
Over 60 students participated in the training sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
The training included preservation of old manuscripts, literature, art and crafts and documentation of cultural activities and events.
Training was also given on traditional and folk art of Lower Siang.
