Gov, CM extend Onam greetings

ITANAGAR, Sep 10: Governor BD Mishra and Chief Minister Pema Khandu have in separate messages greeted the people of the state on the occasion of Onam festival.
In his festival message, the governor said Onam, the most popular festival of Kerala, is celebrated with great enthusiasm, show and gaiety, in dedication to King Mahabali.
“Let us, caring for the sanctity of Onam festival, beyond all physical and mental barriers, unite into a common brotherhood,” he said.
The chief minister in his message wished for the festival to bring prosperity, happiness and peace.
“Onam signifies the values of mutual harmony, kindness and peace that are integral to India’s rich and diverse cultures,” he said. (Raj Bhavan & CMO)
