Rubu Tadii attends Gandhi peace ambassadors’ summit

KATHMANDU (Nepal), Oct 9: Rubu Tadii, International Gandhi Peace Ambassador from Arunachal Pradesh attended the first International Gandhi Peace Ambassador Summit, 2019 held here from 7 to 9 October.
Various issues of International concern, such as humanity, peace and harmony, climate change and global warming were discussed in detail.
Tadii highlighted the ‘Green Revolution Policy’ of Arunachal Pradesh and various measures initiated by the ruling government to increase the green cover of the state.
Eminent scholars and personalities from various countries, including peace ambassadors Dr Shyam Pitroda from the USA, Dr Kakasheb Tumne representing South East Asia, Dr S Monty from London, Adv Dindaya Rijul from Nepal, Ln RK Barua from Bangladesh, and Dr Rohidas Waghmare from India shared their views.
The event organised by the Gandhi Peace Foundation, Nepal was attended by peace ambassadors from around the world.
Earlier, the International Peace Summit started with rich tributes paid to Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of his 150th birth anniversary. (DIPRO)
