Bagra portrays Arunachal as potential food industries destination

COLOGNE, Oct 10: Arunachal Pradesh Industries Minister Tumke Bagra portrayed Arunachal as “an unexplored food industries destination with huge potential for investments.”
Addressing investors and industrialists at the ANUGA 2019 International Food Processing Fair and Technology Show here in Germany on Thursday, Bagra said all agro-horticulture products of his state are purely organic.
The minister, along with Industries Director Habung Donyi and Assistant Director (HQ) Geto Ori, attended the event, during which the Indian delegation, led by Koelnesse Mumbai MD Ashwani Pandey, honoured the team by facilitating the inauguration of 125 Indian stalls by Bagra.
As many as 110 countries from all over the world are attending the weeklong fair. India is represented by leading food processing industries, including Haldiram, the Spice Board of India, the Cashew Exporter Promotion Council, the India Trade Promotion Organization, and the Indian Chamber of Commerce, among others.
The fair is considered highly important by serious trade visitors worldwide, and world exporter unions enthusiastically await this annual event.
