HOLLONGI, Oct 10: Balijan circle in Papum Pare district has been without electricity for the last three days due to a reported defect in the 1000 kv transformer in the power supply station here.
According to department officials, the main transformer in Hollongi, which supplies electricity to Hollongi, Balijan, and Kokila areas, has had a defect since 8 October, “and the department is planning to replace the transformer, which could take another day or two.”
