DC, SP urge students to prioritize edn

SEPPA, Oct 11: East Kameng Deputy Commissioner Gaurav Singh Rajawat exhorted the students of the district to accord topmost priority to their studies, and to shun vices and antisocial activities.
The DC was addressing a batch of Class 10 students of the Bazaar Line GHSS during their ‘exposure visit’ to the offices of the DC and the SP here on Friday.
The DC also urged the teachers to motivate their students and impart quality education, and requested all stakeholders to “go the extra mile for the socio-cultural and educational development of the district.”
SP Piyush Fulzele during his interaction with the students advised them to imbibe moral character and discipline.
“Education is the basic building block for any society to become developed, and until and unless this sector is developed, the mentality of the people will not be developed, and hence the society will not be developed,” the SP said.
He requested the teachers to impart quality education, and urged parents to ensure better education of their children.
The visit was part of an exposure programme conceptualized by the district administration to instill confidence and promote education among the student community.
DDSE Kata Rangmo and GHSS Principal T Jomoh accompanied the students during their visit. (DIPRO)
