CHIMPU, Oct 15: Chimpu United and AVVYA FC were the last two teams to reach the pre-quarterfinals of the 25th Vishwakarma Running Trophy Football Tournament being played here.
Both Chimpu United and AVVYA played out a 1-1 draw in the tournament’s last league level match held here on Tuesday.
In another match, VKV Kuporijo Almuni FC beat Bozochem FC. However, the teams could not make it to the next round.
The pre-quarter matches are scheduled to be played from 16 October.
Gohpur SC will meet Notte Bateh SC in the first pre-quarter match at 2 pm, while Panthers SC will be up against Torbu Dalv SC at 3.30 pm on Wednesday.
