ROING, Oct 16: A Lower Dibang Valley district level patrol leaders’ training camp 2019 for Scouts and Guides was organised at the Government Upper Primary School, Kangkong on 11 and 12 October.
Thirty-three scouts and guides from government schools of Bolung, Jia, Koronu, Abali and Kangkong attended the programme.
The purpose of the patrol leaders training was to equip the participants with skills and to provide them with opportunities for good leadership.
During the camp, the scouts and guides were imparted training on patrol leaders’ role and responsibility, besides hiking, camping, knotting skill, first aid, action song, etc.
Among others, school Headmaster Olik Lego, SMC chairman Simyon Ngupok and DTO Somit Mena were also present. (DIPRO)
