DAPORIJO, Nov 1: The Upper Subansiri District Christian Revival Church Council celebrated its silver jubilee at the airfield here in Upper Subansiri district on Thursday.
Attending the programme, which saw the participation of believers and cultural troupes from across the state, MLA Taniya Soki said “all the citizens should respect one another’s religion, and everyone should respect the nation and the state.”
The MLA said his “first and foremost duty would be to uphold the unity and integrity of all believers, irrespective of their religion.”
Among others, SP Taru Gusar and government officials attended the celebration.
