HUAKAN, Nov 12: The first phase of the second round of the Sarkar Aapke Dwar (SAD) programme was conducted at Huakan village in Tirap district on Monday.
Addressing the villagers, DC (in-charge) Hakresha Kri spoke on the role of the SAD camps in providing government facilities at the doorsteps of the people in far-flung areas.
He distributed free yarns under the CM’s Indigenous Textile Promotion Scheme to 63 weavers of Huakan village. This was followed by distribution of birth, ST, PR and income certificates to the beneficiaries by Dadam CO Pik Tayom.
The district administration’s Jan Suvidha Kendra and various government departments provided facilities under various schemes to the people. (DIPRO)
