SHILLONG, Dec 5: Over 19 stalls have been put up by Arunachal Pradesh at the North East Food Show, which was inaugurated by Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma at Polo Ground here on Wednesday.
Participating in a panel discussion organized in the sideline of the show, representative from Arunachal Pradesh Likha Maj highlighted the scopes and opportunities in food processing in Arunachal, especially after setting up of the proposed Mega Food Park in Banderdewa in Papum Pare district.
Horticulture Joint Director Narang Kani Industries Deputy Director Goli Angu also participated in the discussions.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu is also expected to visit the festival on Friday to boost the morale of the participants from the state.
