PASIGHAT, Dec 13: The third batch of incubatees under the RAFTAAR-Agribusiness Incubator (R-ABI) project are undergoing a two-month ‘workshop or training-cum-hands-on internship programme (agripreneurship orientation programme (NEEV)’, which got underway at the College of Horticulture & Forestry (CHF) here in East Siang district on 10 December.
The inaugural programme of the workshop was chaired by Pasighat-based Apex Professional University professor, Dr Ashok Kumar, in the presence of CHF Dean Dr BN Hazarika, Chief Executive Officer Dr AS Mailappa, a business team, and others.
Dr Kumar highlighted the availability of rich natural resources in the state and “ways to harness the potentialities profitably and effectively.”
Dr Hazarika assured to provide full support to all the incubatees, while Dr Mailappa apprised the participants of the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana’s R-ABI project.
