ITANAGAR, Dec 17: The All Dollungmukh Area Students’ Union in a representation to the PWD central zone chief engineer on Tuesday requested him to initiate action to ensure early completion of the steel girder composite bride over the Dollung river at Paro, in Dollungmukh circle of Kamle district.
The union stated that the bridge, work on which began fours years ago, is still incomplete.
“The bridge was considered to be a lifeline for the people of the area, but the inordinate delay in completion of the bridge has created immense problems to the general public,” it said, and urged the authorities to ensure completion of the work within 20 days.
