RONO HILLS, Dec 26: Parang Cricket Association (PCA) outclassed Toru Cricket Association (TCA) by 22 runs on the sixth day of the Papum Pare District Cricket Tournament-2019 here on Thursday.
After winning the toss, PCA chose to bat first, and scored 257 runs for seven wickets in 50 overs.
Tana Tater of Parang scored 95 runs off 114, including 11 fours and two sixes.
TCA captain, Taba Ethan, was adjudged the most economic bowler of the team. He bowled 10 overs, with two maidens. Ethan also took two wickets for 32 runs.
Chasing the target of 258 runs, TCA were bundled out for 235 runs in 50 overs.
Tana Karan of TCA quick-fired 75 runs off 58 balls, including eight fours and three sixes. He was bowled out by Nabam Taying.
Nabam Taying of PCA was declared the most economic bowler of the match. He bowled 10 overs, with four maidens. He also took four wickets and conceded 23 runs.
