Rijiju said this when PAA secretary-general Techi Sonu called on him here on Thursday. Sonu, who was accompanied by entrepreneur Kon Jirjo Jotham, submitted a memorandum to the minister and apprised him of the vision and mission of the PAA.
On 4 February, Sonu and Jotham had called on the Paralympic Committee of India’s (PCI) secretary-general, Gursharam Singh, and submitted an application seeking affiliation of the PAA to the PCI.
Sonu informed that Singh assured to affiliate the PAA at the earliest and urged the PAA to participate in the national para games and events in the future.
