RONO HILLS, Feb 28: The clinical laboratory of the health centre at Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) here has been fitted with new medical equipment.
Dedicating the new automated hematology analyzer (5-part), biochemistry auto analyzer and hormonal assay auto analyzer to the service of the community on Friday, RGU Vice-Chancellor, Prof Saket Kushwaha, said “many campus dweller-friendly medical schemes will also be launched to provide basic minimum medical facilities to all.”
The health centre’s Senior Medical Officer, Dr Akin Tana Tara, informed that the facilities, costing Rs 18,41,980, “will immensely benefit the campus dwellers and people in the periphery.”
Among others, the visiting pre-NAAC team, RGU Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Prof Amitava Mitra, Registrar (in-charge), Prof Tomo Riba, HoDs, and members of the university’s internal quality assurance cell were present.
