DOIMUKH, Mar 27: Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar on Friday visited the 12 Bn NDRF headquarters here and took stock of the battalion’s preparedness against Covid-19.
During the visit, 12 Bn NDRF Deputy Commandant Pranab Daimai made a PowerPoint presentation on the coronavirus awareness programmes conducted by the NDRF.
The battalion also presented an exhibition on coronavirus-related personal protection equipment, besides chemical, radiological and biological equipment, and demonstrated its preparedness.
Disaster Management Director Abu Tayeng, Disaster Management Secretary Dani Salu, and Fire and Emergency Service SP Ramil Bonniya accompanied the CS during the visit.
