WRGC conducts online national workshop on ICT based teaching learning

DEOMALI, Jun 3: A national level online workshop on the theme ‘The ICT based teaching, learning and evaluation- need of the hour’ was organised by the Wangcha Rajkumar Government College, Deomali in Tirap district on Wednesday.
Attending the workshop, Associate Professor of English and secretary of the English Forum of Karnataka University, Dr Gurunath Badiger opined that “Conventional teaching should be changed to technology-enabled classroom in the context of changed scenario created by Covid-19.”
He told the teachers that the use of technology would make teaching more interesting and meaningful.
Badiger, however, added that although online teaching may not replace live classroom, it works as a better supplement in the absence of live classroom.
WRGC Principal Dr Tasi Taloh, while appreciating the initiative taken by IQAC, suggested it to conduct more such creative programmes.
IQAC coordinator Dr Vineeta Dowerah and workshop convener cum NAAC coordinator Chayon Bangyang also spoke.
More than 60 participants from across the country attended the online programme. (DIPRO)
