PASIGHAT, Jul 22: The Jawaharlal Nehru College’s (JNC) department of commerce here in East Siang district organised a webinar for students on ‘Investor awareness and capital market’, in collaboration with the national stock exchange (NSE) on Wednesday.
Resource person from the NSE, Pratyush Bhasker highlighted on different aspects of financial planning, SIP, risk reward matrix, SEBI guidelines and dos and don’ts of capital market. He also focused on different online courses available for students on their website.
Reflecting upon the webinar Vice Principal Dr SD Choudhury highlighted the need of investors’ awareness, particularly about risk and returns while investing and the availability of job opportunities in stock markets for the present generation.
JNC principal Dr Milorai Modi and IQAC Coordinator and Commerce HoD, Dr DP Panda advised students to take advantage of such webinars and online courses for their future careers.
