ITANAGAR, Sep 18: The state recorded 183 Covid-19 positive cases on Friday, while 171 persons recovered on the same day.
Of the total cases, 38 are symptomatic.
The Itanagar capital region (ICR) topped the state’s list of Covid-19 cases with a total of 93 cases.
Of the 93 cases, 41 were reported from the TRIHMS, 22 from the paid quarantine testing centre here, 12 from the CCC-SOA in zoo area, six from Heema Hospital, five from the Banderdewa check gate, four from the SQF in Lekhi, and one each from the RKMH and the DCH in Chimpu, besides one NDRF man who tested positive in a quarantine facility (QF).
Papum Pare recorded 32 cases, of whom 11 are ITBP personnel from Tigdo, 14 tested positive at the Gumto check gate, and seven tested positive at the Hollongi check gate.
Lower Dibang Valley detected 10 cases, of whom seven were reported from the flu clinic of the district hospital in Roing, two are returnees from Assam and the ICR, while one is a primary contact of a positive case detected earlier.
Seven Covid-19 cases were reported from Kurung Kumey. Of the total cases, four tested positive at the check gate and three are ITBP personnel detected in QF.
Upper Subansiri reported six Covid-19 cases, of whom four were reported from the flu clinic of the district hospital in Daporijo, and two are ITBP personnel detected in QF.
Five cases each were reported from Changlang, Lower Subansiri and Lohit.
Of the five cases in Changlang, four are Assam Rifles personnel returnees from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Assam who were detected in QF, while one is a shopkeeper detected in Miao township.
Of the five cases in Lower Subansiri, four are returnees from Bihar and the ICR, while one is a primary contact of a positive case detected earlier.
All five cases in Lohit district were detected in Tezu township.
Tawang reported three Covid-19 cases. All of them are military personnel detected in QF.
East Siang also recorded three cases, of whom one was reported from BPGH in Pasighat, one is a primary contact of a positive case detected earlier, and another one tested positive at the Ruksin check gate.
Three Covid-19 cases each were reported from West Kameng and Longding. All the cases in West Kameng are military personnel reported from the military hospital in Dahung. Of the three cases in Longding, two were reported from the Kanubari CHC while one is a returnee from the ICR.
Pakke-Kessang, Upper Siang and Anjaw reported two Covid-19 cases each. Both the cases in Pakke-Kessang were reported from the flu clinic, while the two cases in Upper Siang are military personnel.
Of the two cases in Anjaw, one is an SIB person and the other one was detected in Hayuliang township.
Lower Siang detected one case in Likabali township, while Tirap also reported one case from the flu clinic of the general hospital in Khonsa.
