TEZU, 31 Jan: Head of office of the Field Outreach Bureau (FOB), Tezu, P. Sonowal appealed to the people to fulfill Mahatma Gandhi’s dream of clean India by maintaining high degree of cleanliness and sanitation practices at all level.
The FOB on Sunday organized a special programme as part of the Swachchta Pakhawara along with 8th Poi Me Dam Me Phi 2021 celebration at Jona-III Village in Namsai district on Sunday.
Addressing the gathering, Sonowal apprised them about the on-going cleanliness fortnight and emphasized on the use of dustbin and toilet. He also spoke about twin-pit toilet technology, solid liquid waste management SLWM, vermicomposting and different modes of waste disposal.
The programme was also attended by Namsai DC R.K Sharma.
